The fried chicken sandwich was absolutely the best I’ve ever had! The chowder was rich, packed with clams, and incredibly tasty. My son ordered the French dip and raved about the quality of the roast beef. Service was prompt, the wait wasn’t long, and the prices were very reasonable for such high-quality food.

On our way home from Cannon Beach, we stopped here for a fantastic breakfast! The place had a charming atmosphere, the food was excellent, and exploring the gift shop was a treat. My wife was particularly amused by the cat lounging near the entrance—it kept her entertained for quite a while!

While I didn’t eat at the restaurant, this spot is a delightful stop on the way to the coast from Portland. It’s a perfect place to stretch your legs, explore old machinery, and enjoy the peaceful creek. There’s also a museum adjacent to the restaurant, though I didn’t get a chance to visit. The gift shop was fantastic—I regret not buying the huckleberry soap since I couldn’t find any at the coast later.

This has become a must-stop spot for our family every time we head to Seaside! The food is always a hit, and the kids love spotting the cats lounging around outside. It’s a fun challenge to see how many they can find. If you take some time to explore, the scenery is stunning. The creek behind the property is perfect for a little outdoor fun, and the old timber machinery adds a touch of history. The rustic log building is simply gorgeous! ❤️
